Bonjour! I got home from work on Friday carrying this.



Yup, a box full of L'Occitane products.

So comments aside, yes, I passed the test na po. I'm officially an Unrestricted License holder.
That means I can have a few drinks then drive. But you know me, I really don't drink as much.
Unlike *SOMEONE* I know.
Kidding!!! :-P

I kept worrying the whole time because I booked my test last minute.
My Provisional License was due to expire on the 22nd, and I simply refused to pay AU$70 for a renewal.
Kuripot ako, remember?

So I prayed. Then read the test reviewer. Then prayed some more.
My computer test started at exactly 8:30am. I finished at 8:45ish.
I just wanted to get it over and done with.
Ka-nerbyos.

When the test instructor told me I passed the test, I was sooo happy!
And relieved.
And AU$150 poorer.

Oh well, at least that's another thing to tick off my list. :-)

Birthdays aren't always about being a year older.
For some, it's about ice cream.

Yup, definitely ice cream.



Kira's curls are natural, by the way.
She's such a doll.

Ah!!!! How on earth can you resist these two?
They give you the bestest cuddles, I tell you!



Of course, everyone knows that ICE CREAM + KIDS = LAGKIT!
But it's a HAPPY mess.
Those are always welcome. :-)

And as for Jayda, well, she couldn't ask for more.
The birthday girl was definitely happy.

Dear Phillip,

Last night we had to pick up Papa from work as it was raining so hard.
It was fine in the morning, but towards the arvo, the weather went crazy!
Papa had to leave the bmw behind.

I thought everything will be back to normal today.
I was wrong.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I saw was reddish orange.
Yup, reddish orange colour just outside my window.
I literally jumped out of my bed and headed out to have a look.
Lo and behold!



It's like a scene from a sci-fi movie, eh?
Reminded me of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Total Recall.
Have you seen that 90's movie?



Apparently, dust from regional areas + really strong winds + sun = red Sydney day.
Even the Sydney Harbour Bridge wasn't spared.



Far out, eh?! And oh, I didn't take these photos. Got them from a news site.
It was suffocating just looking at them. :-(



I stayed in my room indoors the whole day.
I also took precautionary doses of Symbicort for my asthma.
So far, so good.

I hope by Friday everything's back to normal.
That's going to be another big day for me, you see. ;-)

The wait is killing me.
I know they will ring soon, but I'm sooo nervous about this one.

I've decided to take a break from the waiting game.
It's nerve-wrecking.

Instead, I want to show you these.
I'm no expert, but hey, I try to capture moments, too.

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and give us beach-worthy days.
